The different between IEC62368 and IEC60950

 For AC DC power adapter of information technology products, IEC62368 (referred to as 62368) and IEC60950 (referred to as 60950) requirements are different and the same:

1. The 62368 fireproof shell requires v-0 grade, while the 60950 requires at least V-1 grade. This is because the general primary circuit will be defined as the PS3 circuit, which also belongs to the arc PIS and resistible PIS, so the fire protection shell needs to be isolated from the PIS circuit by 13mm and 5mm.  But the general power supply is unable to achieve, so the shell fire rating will be required v-0 level.

2, the internal PCB board, fire rating of at least V-1 grade, 62368 and 60950 requirements are the same.

The horizontal and vertical combustion tester produced by Shenzhen Yunsheng High Tech Electronics Co., Ltd. can be used for V-0 fire rating test and V-1 fire rating test.
