The METHER Biomedical Cascade Refrigeration System is specifically designed for ultra-low temperature storage of biological materials such as vaccines, blood samples, and other biological samples. It uses a multi-stage refrigeration process to achieve ultra-low temperatures of up to -150℃. The system operates using multiple refrigerants that have varying boiling points and critical pressures. The METHER Biomedical system consists of two separate refrigeration circuits: the high-stage and the low-stage. The high-stage circuit is responsible for achieving primary cooling at temperatures ranging from -40℃ to -60℃. The low-stage circuit is responsible for achieving secondary cooling at temperatures ranging from -70℃ to -150℃. The two circuits are connected by an intermediate heat exchanger that allows for efficient heat exchange between the two stages.
